What is the purpose of FASCIA boards.
It has two main jobs both of which are very important. One is to support the first course of roof tiles or slates. The second is to hold the gutter brackets that then hold the gutter system. Depending on what type you have this could be cast iron, Asbestos or plastic although their are also a number of different types of materials also used for the manufacture of guttering.
What are FASCIA board made from.
As with guttering their are different materials used to make Fascia boards. The most common is wood. Which has been used for hundreds of years on property's .
